In China, gypsum mortar is often also called stucco plaster. Gypsum mortar can be divided into gypsum mortar base layer and gypsum mortar top layer. Gypsum mortar equipment and gypsum mortar production line are equivalent to dry mortar production line or dry mortar equipment, but due to the different varieties of gypsum used by customers, such as slag gypsum powder and natural gypsum powder, there will be some differences in choosing the formula and dry mortar equipment and dry mortar production line. Those adopting natural gypsum powder as raw material can use dry mortar equipment or dry mortar production line, even in the face plaster putty powder without sand, wall putty dry mixing plant or wall putty production line can be used.
Gypsum mortar is a kind of dry-mixed mortar using gypsum powder as raw material, which is mainly used for plastering and leveling of walls. Compared with cement mortar, gypsum mortar is less prone to cavitation and shedding, and its adhesive strength is significantly greater than that of cement mortar. In addition, gypsum mortar can be painted thinner, effectively increasing the interior space. When gypsum and cement are solidified, they have different forms of solidification, and gypsum belongs to expansion force solidification during the solidification process, while cement is different, so almost all walls plastered with cement mortar will have the phenomenon of hollow drums or even peeling off, while gypsum mortar does not have this problem at all. However, gypsum mortar is not as strong as cement mortar.
Gypsum mortar formula (bottom layer): gypsum powder, dry sand, ash calcium, cellulose ether (HPMC), gypsum special retarder, guar gum, wood fiber, of which gypsum special retarder belongs to the soy protein retarder, which doesn’t destroy the solidification strength of gypsum. (The solidification time is controlled at about 1 hour)
Gypsum mortar surface layer: gypsum powder, heavy calcium carbonate, cellulose ether (HPMC), guar bean gum, wood fiber, and gypsum special retarder. (The solidification time is controlled at about 1 hour)
In wall plastering, the plaster mortar base layer (with sand) is applied first, and then the plaster mortar surface layer (without sand) is applied.
In some processes, after plastering, the gypsum surface layer is no longer used, but directly scraping putty powder, and then paint can be brushed.
