The formulation of exterior putty powder includes white cement, quartz sand (or clean washed sand), calcium hydroxide, polypropylene staple fiber, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC), polyvinyl alcohol adhesive powder, redospersoble polymer powde,VAE and wood fiber. Of these, cement provides high strength, calcium hydroxide accelerates setting time, HPMC acts as a modifier and viscosity builder, the gum powder ingredient improves tensile strength and surface resistance to cracking, and wood fibers similarly improve tensile strength and ease of construction. In some areas, ordinary cement can also be used. In general, white cement is less strong than gray normal cement, but for surface application of exterior paint, white walls are preferred because they are more conducive to paint color.
